At the project onset, we will hold meetings with key project stakeholders to understand functional needs of the website, competitor and industry insights, review examples of inspirational brands and lay the foundation for the website design and development. With these insights we will develop a website strategy from the onset designed to meet ever functional, customer experience and measurable goal outlined.
Working together, we will identify primary and sub-pages need to exist on the website. Through this process we will develop a sitemap which will include all pages of the website that need to be designed and developed. Based on the output of the sitemap exercise, we will develop wireframes for all primary page templates - prior to the design and coding - to ensure proper website functionality and overall aesthetic. This allows for quicker iterations and a smoother transition to design and development.
We will begin the development of the website by creating the hosting environment, installing WordPress and custom coding our website to match our design concepts. In parallel with the development of the website, we will identify what content needs to be developed for each page, collect existing assets and write new content as needed.
During the development of the website we will implement a sitewide conversion tracking and site event tagging solution. Through this implementation we will be able to measure site performance on an ongoing basis to understand where conversions are - or are not - occurring, how site engagement is trending, top performing content and much more.
